Fun Warung

Fun Warung is a small, cheerful local restaurant on Jl. Mojo in the south of Gili Air, a few minutes' walk from the harbour. It is a straightforward choice for a cheap, filling meal at any time of day.

The menu mixes Indonesian staples, including nasi goreng, mie goreng, satay, curries and soups, with Western comfort food such as burgers, plus fresh juices and coffee. Prices are among the lowest on this stretch of the island, and portions are generous. It is popular with backpackers and divers staying in the guesthouses nearby.

Fun Warung opens daily from 07:30 to 22:30, so it works for an early breakfast before a dive or boat trip as well as a late dinner. Seating is simple and partly open to the lane. There is no booking; just turn up. Cash is the easiest way to pay at small warungs like this, and there are ATMs near the harbour if you run short.
