Sharkbites Restaurant

Sharkbites is a big, open-sided restaurant and bar under a high thatched roof on Jl. Mojo, the main lane running south from the harbour on Gili Air. It mixes comfort food with a proper bar, and is popular with families during the day and with groups in the evening.

The menu is broad: burgers, kebabs, curries, mac and cheese, chicken lollipops, fish fingers and Greek salad, alongside cocktails such as the loaded Bloody Mary and strawberry margarita. There is a good choice of craft beers, which is unusual on the island. A dartboard keeps people busy while they wait, and the bar runs themed nights including rock and roll bingo.
