SLOW is a boutique enclave of ten contemporary villas on Gili Air, created by a Belgian trio: an architect, an advertising consultant and a dive instructor. The interiors were styled with designer Valérie Barkowski, and the brand leans into a slow-living philosophy built around slow cooking, gentle movement and stretching.
Villas have one or two bedrooms, and each has a private pool, a sunny terrace, an equipped kitchenette and a dedicated work space. Sunbeds are set out in the coconut grove. The resort has its own spa and yoga, can organise diving and kitesurfing, and runs packages and retreats through the year.
Booking direct gets the best rate along with a free massage and a floating breakfast. It is in the west-central part of the island, an easy bike ride to the sunset beaches. Contact the team on WhatsApp or by email. With only ten villas it books up in July and August, so reserve early for the peak season.
Message ahead in peak season: July, August and the Christmas holidays fill up fast.
