Enjoy Gili Cafe & Resto

Enjoy Gili Cafe & Resto is a small, family-feel restaurant in the village a few minutes inland from the harbour. The interior is rustic and full of character, with bamboo walls, wooden benches and handwritten quotes and jokes on the walls. It is one of the highest-rated budget restaurants on the island, with a big following among backpackers.

The menu mixes Indonesian and Western food. Popular orders include fish fillet with dabu-dabu sambal, fried noodles, nasi goreng and other rice dishes, alongside chicken cordon bleu, crispy chicken wraps and spaghetti. Cooking is simple and fresh, and prices are noticeably lower than on the beachfront.

It opens daily from 10:00 to 22:00. Staff are known for being chatty and helpful with recommendations, both for the menu and for the island. It is a relaxed spot for lunch or a cheap dinner, and you will usually get a table without booking. It also posts on Instagram as Enjoy Gili Warung.
