Fat Cats Bar & Restaurant

Fat Cats is the restaurant attached to Trawangan Dive on the east beach of Gili Trawangan. You can eat with your feet in the sand on its private beach or head upstairs to the breezy elevated bistro, which has sofas, Wi-Fi and views across to Gili Meno and Lombok.

The international menu covers breakfast through dinner: burgers, poke bowls, salads, sharing plates and monthly specials built around seasonal produce. Cold-pressed juices and smoothies use local fruit and vegetables, coffee comes from a La Marzocco machine, and the cocktail list changes regularly. There are clearly marked choices for vegans, vegetarians and coeliacs, and staff will adapt dishes for other requirements.

It opens daily from 07:00 to 23:00. The upstairs space works for group dinners and private functions, and the team can bake cakes for special occasions. A good, reliable choice if you are diving next door or want a calm meal away from the louder bars.
