Gili Eco Villas

Gili Eco Villas is on the north coast of Gili Trawangan, away from the noise of the harbour and the main strip. It was one of the island's first resorts to put sustainability at the centre, using solar and wind power and furnishing its villas and bungalows with recycled teak.

Accommodation ranges from garden bungalows to larger two and three-bedroom villas with their own terraces, all set in lush gardens around a pool. Some are deliberately rustic and partly open-air, which feels authentic but can be warm in the middle of the day. Breakfast is served at tables on the beach, and the snorkelling straight off the shore is among the best on the island, with turtles a regular sight.
