Bush Radio is a casual café on Jl. Raya Kuta, next door to Milk and Kenza, with a concrete-and-timber industrial fit-out and a relaxed surfer crowd. It is one of the better-value sit-down options in the centre of town.
Breakfast is built around sourdough toast with toppings such as avocado and poached egg with feta, smoked mahi-mahi, or hummus with roasted tomatoes, plus French toast and grilled cheese with caramelised onions. Later in the day the menu moves to street-food plates: falafel and chicken rolls, poke bowls, pad Thai, Thai basil beef, burgers and fish and chips. Most mains sit between IDR 65,000 and 95,000, and there are several vegetarian choices.
It is open every day from 7:30am to 9pm, so it works for an early coffee before a surf or an easy dinner. Seating is first come, first served; you can message on WhatsApp for takeaway.
Message ahead in peak season: July, August and the Christmas holidays fill up fast.
