Cantina Mexicana

Cantina Mexicana is a Mexican restaurant and bar in the centre of Kuta with a backyard-party atmosphere. The food draws on dishes from across Mexico, from tacos and nachos to sharing plates, and the drinks list runs to fresh, fruity Baja-inspired cocktails, margaritas and beer buckets.

It is a social place rather than a quiet one: there is live music during the week and the team regularly hosts birthdays and group celebrations, when the evening can turn from dinner into dancing. Follow its Instagram for the current events calendar.

Reservations are taken up to 7pm through the website or WhatsApp, and walk-ins are welcome at any time. It is on Jl. Raya Kuta, so you can walk on to other bars in town afterwards.
