Drop In Lombok

Drop In Lombok is a hillside surf lodge and camp in Sukadana village just east of Kuta, focused on serious coaching rather than first-time lessons. It is not aimed at longboarders or complete beginners: packages are pitched at low-intermediate, intermediate and advanced shortboard surfers.

Each week combines daily surf sessions with video and performance analysis, theory workshops on technique and wave strategy, body-mechanics work and one-to-one feedback at the end of the week, plus plenty of surf photos. There is also a surf-and-yoga package, and the lodge itself has accommodation for guests.

It ranks as the top lodge in Kuta on Tripadvisor. Packages are booked by email or WhatsApp; groups are small, so reserve early for the dry season (May to September).
