Inlight Lombok

Inlight Lombok is a cliffside eco-resort at Gerupuk, about 15 minutes east of Kuta town, overlooking Gerupuk Bay and its surf breaks. It describes its style as bio-minimalist, with wave-shaped roofs, raw sustainable materials and simple interiors that put the focus on the view.

Every room faces the bay. Options range from 20-square-metre Standard rooms and 25-square-metre Deluxe rooms with balconies over the pools, to 30-square-metre family rooms for up to four and 35-square-metre Beach Villa Studios with a private terrace and deep soaking tub. There are infinity pools, oceanfront yoga, and a coastal kitchen; you can stay room-only, with breakfast or all-inclusive. The whole resort runs on filtered water, so tap water, ice and food are safe. Staff arrange boats to the outside reef breaks directly from the hotel, as well as diving and snorkelling.

Guests love the quiet, sunrise views and helpful owner; some note the Wi-Fi is weaker in rooms. Have your own scooter for trips into Kuta.
