Kumbara Oasis

Kumbara Oasis is a recently opened, adults-only boutique hotel on Jalan Mawun, within walking distance of Kuta's main street but in a quieter pocket of town. It is the sister property of the neighbouring Kumbara Villas, and the two share a restaurant and team.

The heart of the hotel is the 'oasis', a central pool shaded by palms with sun loungers and beanbags. Rooms come in two types: ground-floor Poolside suites with a hammam-style bathtub, and upper-floor Balcony suites looking over the pool and the surrounding hills. Rooms are large and calmly styled with natural materials, and some guests highlight the in-room projector and screen. A sauna and ice baths are available for an extra charge, a nearby gym is included in the room rate, and scooters can be rented through reception. There is also a Moroccan-style restaurant on the Kumbara site.

Early reviews average 4.9 on Google. As a new hotel, some services such as breakfast are still being refined. Book direct through the website or WhatsApp.
