Kuta Lombok Surf School

Kuta Lombok Surf School was set up by a surfer from the Kuta coast and offers lessons for beginners through to advanced surfers, kids' sessions for under-8s and guiding for experienced riders. Each session includes return transfers, a 20-minute beach briefing and warm-up, and two hours in the water, with boats used where the spot requires it (as at Gerupuk).

Prices are clear: group lessons from IDR 550,000–600,000 per person, private one-to-one lessons at IDR 700,000 and surf guiding from IDR 500,000, with boards, UV rash vests and leggings included. The school also runs surf-camp packages of three to six days with dorm accommodation, breakfast, photo or video analysis and a barbecue dinner.
