Le Too Much is a French-run restaurant and dessert café on Jl. Pariwisata Pantai Kuta. The ground floor is a cosy dining room of wooden furniture, soft lighting and nature-inspired décor, while upstairs there is a lounge with sofas and an open-air terrace overlooking the town.
The menu mixes French, Mediterranean and international dishes: tenderloin steak with pepper or garlic sauce, mahi-mahi fillet, beef tartare, lamb skewers, shish kebab in shawarma bread and vegetable samosas. Homemade bread comes with meals, and the pastry and dessert counter is the real draw, with French pastries, Italian gelato, dark chocolate and raspberry cake, and a mango and white chocolate dessert.
It is open daily from 12:00 to 22:00. The owners are hands-on and the service is attentive. It works for a full dinner, but is equally good for just coffee and cake, or a glass of wine and a cocktail on the terrace in the evening.
Message ahead in peak season: July, August and the Christmas holidays fill up fast.
