Roots Surf Camp & Yoga Retreat

Roots is a surf camp and yoga retreat in Gerupuk, the fishing village east of Kuta whose sheltered bay holds several breaks reached by local boat. It runs retreat-style packages rather than nightly stays, aimed at experienced beginners and intermediate surfers who want to progress in a structured way.

Options include a surf package, a combined surf and yoga package and a special longboard retreat. Coaching covers stance, wave selection and safety, supported by surf video analysis, and the camp also organises hikes and trips such as Rinjani. Accommodation, meals and boat transfers to the waves are part of the stay.
