Rumah Makan Rezeky

Rumah Makan Rezeky (signed as UD Mandiri) is a classic pay-by-the-plate warung on the north side of Kuta, popular with both locals and long-stay visitors. The set-up is simple: take a plate, help yourself from a long table of trays and pay according to what you have chosen.

The selection is what sets it apart. Alongside fried chicken, eggs and fish there are many vegetable dishes, jackfruit curry, spicy tofu and tempeh, sambal goreng and fresh greens, which makes it one of the best options in Kuta for vegetarians and vegans. Omelettes and boxed meals are also available, and a full plate usually costs well under 40,000 rupiah.

It is open from 7:30am to 10:30pm every day. Lunchtime, when the trays are freshly filled, is the best time to go. Dine in or take away; takeaway boxes are a handy option for beach days. Pay in cash at the counter.
