SeaSalt is a small seafood bistro on the beach road (Jl. Raya Pantai) in Kuta, easy to spot by its white façade, blue lettering and terrace tables. It focuses on fresh, locally landed fish rather than a long menu, and it is a calmer alternative to the busier bars on the main strip.

The daily specials board depends on what came in from the market, so ask what is fresh. Regular favourites include grilled mahi-mahi, seafood platters and fish and chips with crisp batter, which some reviewers call the best on the island, served with good sauces and fries. There are also salads, pasta and a few sides for non-fish eaters.

It is open daily from noon to 22:00. Because it is small and popular, there can be a wait at peak dinner hours; come for a late lunch or an early dinner to avoid it. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the fish. It is a short walk from the beach and the central guesthouses.
