Waiwas Hostel Lombok

Waiwas Hostel is a purpose-built capsule hostel on Jl. Baturiti I, a short walk from Kuta's main street. It is aimed at active travellers, especially surfers, skaters and cyclists, and is deliberately designed to help solo travellers meet people.

There are 44 capsule beds in shared dorms of 20, 16 and 8. Each capsule has a 200 x 100 cm premium mattress, blackout privacy curtain, reading light, individual air conditioning and fan, USB charging and a luggage drawer, with bedding and towel provided. Shared spaces include a bar, lounge, co-working area, terrace and gardens, a yoga spot, a small gym and a pool. Guests mention family-style dinners held most nights of the week and a friendly resident dog. Toiletries are not supplied, so bring your own.

Surf trips, scooter rental and excursions can be organised through the team, and the hostel also takes group bookings. It is popular and books out in high season, so reserve early.
