Cafe Rinjani Dawn

Cafe Rinjani Dawn opened in 2024 at the start of the Senaru Waterfall Trail. It is run by Nur, whose husband Aef founded Rinjani Dawn Adventures. The terrace looks over Senaru's rice terraces and forested slopes towards the coast, and the outside wall has a large mural of Princess Mandalika.

The menu mixes Senaru home cooking with Indonesian staples and some Western dishes. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available. Coffee is a focus, and it makes a good stop before or after walking down to Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep, or for a meal at the end of a Rinjani trek.

Table reservations are taken through the website between 10:00 and 21:00. Call or message ahead for groups. It is on the main tourist strip, so it is easy to reach by scooter or car from anywhere in Senaru.
