Dragonfly Senaru

Dragonfly Senaru is a small trekking and tour business run by Wika, who was born and grew up in Senaru. Alongside two- to four-day Rinjani treks from Senaru and Sembalun, it offers shorter walks around the village, which suits visitors who want a local guide for a day rather than a full climb.

The main short option is the waterfall walk to Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep, the two falls just below the village. The trail is manageable on your own, but a guide helps on the river crossing and slippery sections to Tiu Kelep, and can combine it with walks through the rice fields and visits to the traditional houses of old Senaru and the Bayan area. Dragonfly also has a lodge and a bar and restaurant on Jalan Pariwisata.
