Green Rinjani

Green Rinjani is a locally owned trekking company based in Senaru village, one of the two main gateways to Mount Rinjani. It has run organised treks since 2011, and every package includes national park permits, licensed English-speaking guides, porters, camping equipment and meals.

The range covers the two-day Senaru crater rim trek, summit climbs from Sembalun, and three- and four-day routes that drop into the caldera to Segara Anak lake and the hot springs. Shorter options include Pergasingan Hill near Sembalun. The company also runs a guest house in Senaru and puts weight on environmental work, including a tree-adoption scheme and a zero-waste approach on the mountain.

Treks run in the dry season, roughly April to December; the park closes the trails from January to March. Book a few weeks ahead in July and August, when departures fill quickly. WhatsApp is the fastest way to confirm dates and pick-up from Senggigi, Kuta or the Gili harbour.
