Rinjani Dawn Adventures

Rinjani Dawn Adventures is a Senaru-based trekking and tour company with more than a decade on the mountain. It holds a TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice award and puts emphasis on fair porter practices and community projects through its Sasak Warriors initiative.

Treks run from two to four days and cover the Senaru crater rim, the summit, the Torean route and the second summit, Puncak Sangkareang. If you are not climbing, the half-day Senaru waterfall tour is a good alternative: about 5 km on the Senaru Waterfall Trail to Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep, starting and finishing at the company's own Cafe Rinjani Dawn. It is priced from about US$55 without transfers, including coffee and cake on arrival and lunch overlooking the rice fields.
