Rinjani Master

Rinjani Master is a Senaru trekking organiser that describes its founder, Mr John, as one of the pioneers of guiding on Mount Rinjani since 1982. The company has been formally registered since 2015 and runs all-inclusive packages with licensed guides and porters.

Treks include the two-day Senaru crater rim route (around 17 km return, topping out at 2,641 m), the two-day summit climb from Sembalun to 3,726 m, a three-day Sembalun-to-Senaru traverse via the lake and hot springs, and a four-day route ending through the Torean valley. The company also runs Senaru Lodge, a simple hostel at the foot of the mountain, so you can stay in the village before and after the trek.

Treks run from April to December. Contact the team on WhatsApp to check route status, as individual trails such as Torean are sometimes closed for maintenance or after bad weather.
