Rinjani Trekking Center has operated as a formal trekking company in Senaru since 2013, and holds a government operating licence and membership of PIJAR, the association of Mount Rinjani tourism service providers. Its head office is on Jalan Pariwisata in Senaru.
Packages run from the two-day Senaru crater rim trek to longer routes combining the summit, Segara Anak lake and the hot springs. Guides and porters are from the villages around the mountain, and trekking insurance is offered as an add-on.
A useful feature of the website is its route-status notice. In October 2026 it reported that trekking had resumed on 3 October, with the Senaru route open and the Torean route temporarily closed. Check it before you plan a trip. The trails are closed every year from January to March. Booking is through the website or WhatsApp.
Message ahead in peak season: July, August and the Christmas holidays fill up fast.
