Café Alberto is one of Senggigi's longest-standing beachfront restaurants, set right on the sand at Batu Bolong just south of the town centre. The menu leans Italian, with pizza and pasta, alongside grilled seafood and Indonesian dishes, and there is a full bar with cocktails and fresh juices.
The location is the main draw. Tables run down to the beach with open views over the water, and sunset is the time to be here. A pool sits behind the restaurant, and the business also operates a small bed-and-breakfast with rooms close enough to the sea to hear the waves, which many guests return to year after year. Staff are friendly and remember repeat visitors.
It is an easy taxi or scooter ride from anywhere in Senggigi, and it gets busy on weekend evenings, so reserve by phone or WhatsApp. Batu Bolong temple is a short walk away and makes a good pre-dinner stop for sunset photographs.
Message ahead in peak season: July, August and the Christmas holidays fill up fast.
