The Kliff Bistro

The Kliff Bistro sits on a headland above Katamaran Hotel & Resort in Mangsit and is one of the most popular dinner spots on the Senggigi coast, regularly ranked at the top of local restaurant lists. The open-sided deck looks straight out to sea, with Mount Agung on Bali silhouetted behind the sunset on clear evenings.

The menu is built around small plates and larger sharing dishes cooked over open fire, with an emphasis on seasonal produce and seafood, alongside a cocktail and wine list. As darkness falls the terrace is lit by candles, which makes it a favourite for anniversaries and special occasions, but it also draws plenty of locals and non-resident visitors.

It opens daily from 16:00 to 23:00. Arrive around 17:30 for sunset drinks and book ahead for a front-row table, especially in high season. Katamaran's beachside Sail Restaurant and Pool Bar are on the same site if you want to start earlier in the day.
