Ekas Kongkong Paradise

Ekas Kongkong Paradise is a simple guesthouse with its own café and restaurant on the hill at Lendang Terak, close to the Ekas Inside and Outside surf breaks. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable, with private bathrooms and toiletries provided, and the setting is quiet, with little more than the geckos to disturb you at night.

The open-sided bamboo café is open to everyone from 07:00 to 23:00 and serves coffee, pancakes, Indonesian mains and a gado-gado that several reviewers call the best they have had. Prices are low and the staff are friendly and helpful with surf transport and local tips. Several guests who planned one night ended up extending.

It is a good budget base for surfers who want to be close to the waves without paying resort prices. Book by phone or WhatsApp. The bay beach is a few minutes away for sunset, and surf boats to Inside and Outside Ekas can be arranged.
