Pink Cafe Ekas

Pink Cafe is a family restaurant on Jalan Pantai Kura-Kura in Ekas Buana, on the road towards Turtle Beach in south-east Lombok. It is attached to the family's new Pink House homestay and has a perfect 5.0 rating from nearly 180 Google reviews.

The signature dish is lobster from the family's own farm in Ekas Bay: the owner often shows you the lobster before it is cooked, and grilled lobster is priced by weight (around 500,000 rupiah for 500 g at the time of writing). Reviewers also rave about the gado-gado, fried noodles and generous tuna plates, which come at much lower prices. The setting is simple, clean and quiet, and the owners are notably welcoming.

It is open daily from 07:30 to about 22:00. If you want lobster, it is worth messaging ahead. Ekas is roughly 75 minutes by road from Kuta. The family's Pink House homestay next door has rooms if you want to stay the night.
