BASK Gili Meno

BASK is the most upmarket resort on Gili Meno, on the west coast facing the sunset. Accommodation ranges from 32 m² pond-view studios and studios with plunge pools to beachfront one-bedroom suites whose infinity pools look straight out to sea, plus two-storey lofts and larger villas.

The BASK Beach Club is open to non-guests and has a 35-metre infinity pool, cabanas, a restaurant and sunset DJ sessions. It is usually free to use if you order from the menu, but book in peak season. Just offshore is Nest, the underwater sculpture by Jason deCaires Taylor and one of the Gilis' most popular snorkel sites. The resort supports reef restoration and beach clean-ups and can arrange diving, snorkelling, island hopping, bicycles and jet ski hire.

It is about a 15-minute walk or cidomo ride from Meno's harbour. Book direct through the website or contact reservations by phone. Rooms with private pools sell out first in peak season.
