The Rabbit Tree Hostel

The Rabbit Tree is a playful, creatively built hostel in the centre of Gili Meno. Rooms and dorms are designed like a set from a children's story, with options including a treehouse, a room shaped like a flying boat and a ball-pit room. It has a 4.6 Google rating from more than 270 reviews and is listed on Hostelworld and the major booking sites.

It is the main social hub for backpackers on this quiet island. Evenings feature bonfires, shared family dinners, volleyball and themed nights, and the hostel runs a sunset boat trip. The café serves smoothie bowls, burgers and other comfort food. Some rooms are fan-only, so ask for air conditioning if you need it.
