Krisna Bungalows & Restaurant

Krisna Bungalows faces the water on the main Sekotong coast road, looking out towards Gili Nanggu and the other southern Gilis. It has been operating for years and has more than 700 Google reviews, making it one of the best-known places to stay on the Sekotong mainland.

Accommodation is spread across three groups of villas and bungalows, several with their own small infinity pools and sea views. The beachside restaurant is a draw in its own right, with a varied menu, fair prices and cold beer, and it is open to non-guests. Krisna runs its own four-island snorkelling trips, which guests rate as well organised and good value. Wi-Fi is decent, though the main road behind can be noisy.

The owner responds quickly on WhatsApp and can arrange airport transfers. A scooter or driver is useful, as there is little else within walking distance. The fast boats to the southern Gilis leave from jetties a few minutes along the coast.
