Laut Biru Bar & Restaurant

Laut Biru sits right on Selong Belanak Beach, with indoor and outdoor dining areas, a beachfront deck and tables set on the sand under the trees. It is linked to the neighbouring Sempiak Seaside Resort and has been the bay's go-to sit-down restaurant for years, with more than 1,000 Google reviews averaging 4.5.

The menu runs from breakfast through lunch and dinner, with separate sweet, drinks and kids' menus. Grilled snapper and other seafood, nasi goreng and Western dishes all feature, and the bar turns out frozen margaritas, house kombuchas and milkshakes. Prices are higher than at the beach warungs next door, but so is the comfort.

It is open daily from 08:00 to 21:00 and is at its best around sunset, when the bay glows and lanterns go on in the trees. The restaurant also hosts private events, weddings and celebrations on the beach. Reserve a sunset table via WhatsApp in high season.
