Warung Corner is a simple, family-run Indonesian restaurant on the corner of the main road in Selong Belanak village, a few minutes' walk from the beach. With more than 700 Google reviews averaging 4.8, it is one of the most popular places in the bay for local food.
The ladies who run it cook to order. Regulars recommend the gado gado, the chicken curry, nasi goreng special, spring rolls and lalapan chicken, all with a punchy house sambal, plus fresh fruit juices. Expect to pay around Rp 45,000 for a nasi campur, which is a little above village warung prices but still good value.
It is open daily from 10:30 to 21:00. Payment is usually cash only, so bring rupiah, and tip the team if you enjoyed it. Service is unhurried, so it suits a relaxed lunch after the beach rather than a quick bite.
Message ahead in peak season: July, August and the Christmas holidays fill up fast.
